HBBACS Payment Dates

Housing Benefit by BACS is credited to your or your tenants account on the dates below. Any adjustments created by changes of circumstances are paid in the weeks between these payments..

Payments made via BACS will be made more frequently than cheque. If you are still receiving payments via cheque, we strongly recommend that you consider the many advantages of BACS payments.

Cheques can get lost or stolen in the post, take several days to arrive and then still have to be taken to your bank - it usually take a minimum of 3 days before the payment is cleared. BACS payments are quick and secure - please telephone our Payments Officer on 01255 686288 to change over to payments via BACS.
