To qualify for a Child Care Disregard you need to satisfy the following conditions:

• A lone parent who works more than 16 hrs a week
  
• A couple who are both working more than 16 hrs a week
  
• A couple who one is working more than 16hrs a week and the other one is incapacitated or in hospital or in prison
