If you go into hospital then we can continue to pay your benefit for up to 52 weeks providing you are expected to return home within that time. You must notify the Benefits section of this change in circumstances - you can obtain a change of circumstances form here.

If you are unable to contact us yourself please ask a friend, relative or a hospital social worker to let us know as soon as possible.

However, the amount of benefit that we can pay you may decrease if you are in hospital for more than 4 weeks.
