Clacton Pop Up Shop

Chameleon logo

Due to the success of Chameleon, the pop-up shop in Dovercourt, we have launched a second scheme in an empty unit in Jackson Road, Clacton on Sea which opened on Friday 4th November 2011.

The Chameleon shop will be offered to four lucky retail businesses, RENT & RATES FREE, and each successful applicant will have a period of approximately 12 weeks in the shop.

The project is ideal for people who have a small business at home or are perhaps making their own jewellery, ceramics, cards, crafting wood or running a shop on ebay selling collectables or clothing, or would like to trial a new product.

The Town Centre Coordinator and a number of business support agencies including will provide support and mentoring whilst the tenant is in the shop to help make the most out of the opportunity as well as helping to develop the business after their time in the Pop-Up shop.

For an application form for your chance to trade in the shop or for further information, please contact Rachel Fryer, Town Centre Coordinator on 01255 686149 or e mail rfryer@tendringdc.gov.uk or download a Pop Up Shop Application Form.

The deadline for the final tenancy is Friday 13th July 2012.

The Pop Up Shop is situated at 12 Jackson Road, Clacton on Sea, CO15 1JA, shop telephone number: 01255 428590.
