Clacton appointed its first town centre manager in June
2007.
The overall long term aim is to have a well managed town centre
with an enhanced retail offer.
A business plan is currently being prepared covering: -
- Promoting the town centre
- Broadening the retail offer
- Developing an individual shop improvement scheme
- Quality street markets
- Managing the environment
- Community safety
- Partnership development
- Project funding
- Monitoring and evaluation.
