What will happen to the Company when the initial funding provided by the Council runs out?

An early task for the Company will be seeking further funding to ensure the sustainability of the Company beyond the three years for which it has funding allocated by the Council. The Council could decide to provide further funding in future but any such decision would need to be taken in the light of the Council's wider financial position and the success or otherwise of the Company up to that time.

How will the Company work with the Council's existing Regeneration Team - will the staff join the Company?

No decision has been made on this and a review is currently being carried out to assess the potential benefits and issues which would arise if the existing Regeneration Team were to be combined in some way with the resources of the Company. This could take the form of secondments of staff or the formal transfer of staff to the Company. The staff involved are being consulted as part of the review.
