A Bingo premises licence allows the premises to have up to 8 Category B3 or B4 gaming machines and any number of Category C or D gaming machines available for use on the premises.

All gaming machines must abide by the Gambling Commission's Gaming Machines Technical Standards and be tested to the appropriate standard by an approved test house.

The rules for positioning of gaming machines in relation to other activities on a premises are listed in the mandatory and default conditions to the Gambling Act 2005.

Applications are usually dealt with within 2 months of receipt of a full application. In very exceptional circumstances the deadline may be required to be extended, you will be notified of the new deadline and the reason for extending it.
