Fully Funded Training for your Staff

Essex Chambers of Commerce are delighted to announce that, in partnership with Ixion Holdings, we have won a further contract, "Advantage East", to deliver Level 2 NVQ training to our members, free of charge, for the next 27 months.

Companies with less than 250 employees will qualify for fully-funded training at level 2. Staff aged 19 and over are eligible - it does not matter if they have already achieved a Level 2 NVQ or 5 A-C grade GCSEs/'O' levels.
Training will be carried out in the workplace by a Chamber Assessor so the impact on company time is minimized.

Delivery of Skills for Life is included if identified as appropriate, and all candidates will be screened for Skills for Life needs.

This is a wonderful opportunity for Chamber members to continue to upskill their staff using the resources and experience of your own Chamber. Your employees will benefit by becoming more confident and efficient in their roles, plus they will achieve a recognised qualification. The involvement of the Chamber Network in helping to educate the workforce of the future has long been a key element of Chamber Policy, and it is very rewarding to be able to announce that, once again, we are able to extend the training 'offer' across the County.

Do please bear in mind that we have 27 months in which to deliver this contract. If you are currently in the process of identifying future training needs for staff and developing training programmes, remember, you do not have to rush into anything, you can take up this offer at a later date.

For further information on any aspects of "Advantage East", contact Lydia Clough on lydiaclough@essexchambers.co.uk or 01206 765277. Alternatively, please e-mail deniserossiter@essexchambers.co.uk
